Kavichandhirakanth Murugesan CHEMBE Graduate (Phd) Student

Kavi is a 2nd year PhD student in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in translational nanomedicine. His research focuses on developing dendrimer based drug conjugates for targeted therapy, with applications in neuroinflammation, metabolic disorders. Kavi’s work spans drug delivery, cellular senescence, drug liver metabolism, cellular uptake studies, and advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC and fluorescence assays.

He has previously worked with Moderna, AstraZeneca R&D, and India’s Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). With a strong foundation in biomolecular engineering and therapeutic design, Kavi is committed to advancing dendrimer precision medicine solutions for CNS and systemic disorders.
